Courage and perseverance, intelligence, diligence, and an iron will always played a role in the eventful history of Jupiter Küchenmaschinen GmbH. Wilhelm Leibbrand, a pioneer who made his name in the food preservation sector, was a loyal local patriot of Swabia. After great success in the canned food business, after the First World War he tried his hand in the shipping business as well. With famous Swabian industriousness and animated by the keen desire to revitalize his old successes, he founded Jupiter in 1921. As a trained cook, Leibbrand was a practical man who knew exactly what he was doing. He proved to be farsighted and to possess a good "nose for business". His first Jupiter device was a total success. The universal kitchen machine "Gloria" was subsequently a great hit and made retail cash registers ring merrily.

Wilhelm Leibbrand only lived to be 55 years old. But before he died, he had already handed over the reins of the company Jupiter to the next generation. And once again it was relentlessly hard-working Swabians who advanced the firm with their sure business instincts and industrious efforts. The product range grew, but thanks to Swabian durability, today 90 years after the company's founding, exactly those kitchen appliances are still the ones that contribute most to the success of all these years: universal mincers and grinders, flour mills, all-purpose slicers, and juicers. Whether manual appliances or electricity-driven, cutting up food is always the focus of our work.
